Home-Made Fruit Juice

These fruit juices are a refreshing way to cool down on a hot day! You can use pre-bought frozen fruit or freeze any leftover fruit you have that's starting to go mushy. This recipe features mixed berries and blueberry and spinach. Serves 1-2

Ingredients:

  • One cup of frozen Mixed Berries

  • Half a cup of Water

  • Honey or Agave Syrup to taste

  • 2-3 balls of Frozen Spinach

  • Half a Cup of frozen blueberries, or leftover Blueberry Yogurt (around 75ml)

Method:

1) Add the frozen mixed berries and water to a blender. Blend for 1 to 2 minutes. If you want plain berry juice, pour into a glass, add sweetener if desired and enjoy!

2) Add the frozen spinach to the mixture and pulse for 1 minute. For the blueberry flavour, add in the yogurt and pulse for a further minute. If using frozen blueberries, add a splash of any milk to create a slightly creamier taste. Again, pulse until there are no lumps left in the juice.

3) Pour into a glass, add sweetener if desired and enjoy!
