Homemade Cajun Wedges

The simplest recipe ever, using only good ol' potatoes and some herbs and spices! Way cheaper than supermarket wedges, plus they're a lot healthier and easy to make. Great as a side with meat or fish, or by themselves.

Ingredients:

- 4 medium sized potatoes

- Salt

- Pepper

- 2 tsp garlic granules

- 1 tbsp Cajun spice powder (or equivalent)

- 2 tsp paprika (or equivalent)

- 1/2 tsp oregano

- 1/2 tsp thyme

- Olive oil

Recipe:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees fan.

  2. Wash and cut the potatoes in half, then into wedges. Place them on a baking tray with grease proof paper.

  3. Add roughly 1 tsp of oil to the potatoes evenly, along with all the spices and herbs.

  4. Mix these until all the potatoes are coated and spread out in a single layer on the baking tray.

  5. Place in oven for 35 minutes until golden and crispy, turning them over halfway through cooking.

  6. Serve as a delicious and healthy side to a dish or as a delicious homemade treat on their own!
